First Class All The Way
author: Captaindave
This is a fantastic CD - it is number one in my collection. It may very well be the best I have ever heard from any artist - period. The sound quality, musicianship, performance, arranging, production, and just absolutely outstanding songs make this CD as good as anything you are going to find. If you like the sound and style of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass or Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66 at their very best, or just great music in general, this is the CD to get. The songs here are the kind that stick in your head and won't let you alone. There are songs here that are as good as anything that has ever made it to the top of the charts. I have been listening to this CD every day, and I have got to say that this is probably the best collection of songs I have ever heard in one place and at one time. I have played music nearly all my life as a trumpet player and I can truly say it just doesn't get any better than this. This is among the best of the best - it is my favorite CD. Every song is excellent - and unique. Que Hasta Loca is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. If you only buy one CD this year or next or whenever, this is the one to get. First class all the way!
