Introducing Japan’s newest singer , songwriter and Gospel, Rhythm & Praise recording artist Judah Hatcher. Born in the US in Baltimore MD, Judah began singing at a very young age. He quickly became know for his ability to sing and to make people laugh. His peers soon noticed his passion for music and he was voted most musically talented during his senior year of high school. This same passion carried over to college and afforded Judah the opportunity to sing in choirs behind gospel music greats like Ronald Winans, Twinkie Clark, and Keith Pringle(under the direction of John Tillery at Columbia Union College). During this period, Judah also had the privilege of singing in two local groups "Positive Threat" (along side Rythm and Blues sensation Raheem DeVaughn) and "Ntencity Judah’s earlier musical influences were Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Lionel Richie. However as Judah began to mature he developed a great appreciation for gospel recording artists such as Fred Hammond, Edward Hawkins, and The Winans. All of these influences can be found on Judah’s independently released CD “I’ll Continue” which he wrote and produced. This CD is filled with songs that are uplifting and encouraging all while giving each listener a personal look at Judah’s life and his relationship with God. Judah currently lives in Akishima-shi, Tokyo. He has a great fondness of the nation of Japan and it is his desire to share with the people of Japan his God giving gift to worship and praise. Since arriving in Tokyo in Oct 2007, Judah has been traveling throughout the region entertaining and singing at wedding parties, workshops and concerts. More recently, Judah toureed with the World of the Golden Eggs live tour. and He has also sang background for Kenny Bobien at Ageha. Judah was also a featured artist Tokyo FM Hall for Gospel Reggae Concert. And has also taught Praise & Worship Workshops in Fussa, Tokyo.
