Simply Wonderful

Jud is the best writer to come out of Maine since Robert McCloskey. His words speak easily and resonate with images that are at once new and familiar. His voice is rich and friendly - an old friend come to visit. And his music has the lyrical beauty of the best of the folk tradition. He's a balladeer in the best sense of the word.
"Blackberry Time" recalls the innocent joy of "Blueberries for Sal" but adds the wisdom of age.
Thank's to NPR station WFUV for playing it - but thank you, Jud, for being here.

Simply put, this original music is a MUST HAVE. I've listened to this CD many times now, and I thoroughly enjoy every song. Jud's lyrics are written with such heart and feeling. His guitar playing is magical. I wish he would come to the Eichelberger Center in Hanover, Pennsylvania.

I love the CD. It's uplifting, the music is beautiful and the lyrics are wonderful to listen to with enjoyable stories. My favorite song is the title track.
I can't wait until he comes farther south -- North Jersey.

I love it. I love the stories he tells in his songs. Just a breathe of fresh air for me. My favorite so far is "Whatever Happened to Rob". I just learned of Jud Caswell a few months ago and I am now a big fan. And, where he comes from in Maine, is one town away from where I go on vacation every year - good solid people up there in those parts.
