Independent recording artist Jud Conway's original compositions infuse elements of rock 'n' roll, classic country, folk, and blues with a rugged charm reminding listeners of "roots rockers" like Neil Young and Gram Parsons. Jud moonlights as lead singer & rhythm guitarist for The Revelators rock 'n' roots" cover band and The Lonesome Pines acoustic duo. In addition, Jud is a respected musicologist, critic, and journalist employed as Head Writer/Reviewer for the influential webzine Kindweb. Southern Bound, his full-length debut release, features thirteen fantastic original songs backed by incredible musicians from all over the country, including producer/bassist Dan Conway, members of Phil Lesh and Friends, the Dave Nelson Band, the Bruce Hornsby Band, Modereko, Zeugma, the B.O.L.T., and even the Cowsills band (yes, the Cowsills!).
