"Songs about lost lovers, old friends, inanimate objects, the quandary of balancing money against art and the best ode to Mom since Tupac rapped from his prison cell...Rock on, brother Jude." --- SNACK CAKE MAGAZINE
"The mid-American troubadour with the most amazing angelic tenor voice, at once reminds me of a persuasive, charismatic Dylan, a ragged and ripped jeans Jim Croce, and at times inherits the valuability of Tori Amos." --- ROCK LOVE
"Jude is a singer/songwriter from L.A. whose voice and vision hark back to a long-vanished time when a kid and his guitar meant something. You know, a young starving artist whose damaged life makes no sense until the moment he gets on stage and begins to sing. He carries his burden in a rambling bundle of songs that are autobiographical without being cloying or overly oblique. His voice is a pristine instrument that clarifies the ambiguous. It sensuously soars and glides as he reaches back into his forgotten inner self and pulls out this unbelievable falsetto some men would be ashamed to use." --- MAGNET MAGAZINE

A poet/philosopher/talented singer and guitarist

I'm new to Jude and bought all of his albums in one big order(thanks Deezer). His songs are deep, simple, light, complex, and very humane all at the same time. His style is very pure and gives us a good glimpse of his talent as a singer/songwriter/guitarist. His voice is mesmerizing and his range is impressive. He's a true troubadour. The other albums are good, too, but not as pure, and this one is defininetly the one I'd rate as my favourite. If you like Jude, you should just buy them all anyway, like I did. May his career be long as well as our pleasure listening to him. And thanks CD Baby for the extremely fast delivery to France.
