The Jude Ciccolella Band
features Jude on vocals and rhythm guitar, with musical director Bill Severance on drums, Doug Livingston on keyboard and steel guitar, Craig Stull on lead guitar, and Candy Chase on bass. Depending on the venue and personal schedules, the group may be augmented by Chad Watson on bass, guitar, and trombone, Matt Gurman on guitar, Tim Emmons on bass, Matt Margucci on harp, trumpet and accordion.
The group has an eclectic songbook, but mostly features recognizable tunes from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, with a few from the 80’s and the 90’s, including rock and roll, country, and standards. Original compositions are also in the mix. You can expect to hear songs by Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Ricky Nelson, Mary Wells, Jim Webb, Clint Black, Nat King Cole, Dwight Yoakam, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Clyde McPhatter, the b-Beatles, Johnny Cash, Dee Clark, Clarence ‘the Frogman’ Henry, Dion, the Clovers, Earl Grant, Cher, Buddy Holly, Pat Boone, Roy Hamilton, the Walker Brothers and others. The band tries to have a songbook that includes material we all know but that we don’t get to hear in a live context anymore.
