Each year in May, the Battle of Resaca is reenacted on our family farm. As part of that observance, a memorial sevice is held at the Confederate Cemetery. This collection of songs grew out of those services. They are an attempt to express my gratitude and respect for what this place means to me. I hope you enjoy them.

P.S. 100% of the income (except what must go to taxes) from the sale of "Shades of Blue and Gray" will go to help save our family farm. Please help if you can. This land has been in my family for nearly 100 years. We have been good stewards of this land. We have hosted the Battle of Resaca re-enactment for more than twenty years and opened our farm to cross country field meets and school field trips for many years.

Haunting! This album will stay with you!
author: Katelyn
I've had this album for a couple of years and it is a frequent visitor to my 5 disc changer! I think my favorites would have to be the ballad of 'The Battle of Resaca' and 'Soldier No More.' The Battle of Resaca is truly a piece of artwork- the gauntlet of emotions that the lyrics and music take you through is something that touches the Patriot inside us all. It invokes the same poignant emotions as Eric Clapton's ballad 'Indian Sunset'. The accapella harmonies of 'Solider No More' will haunt you and leave you with a feeling of peace and also sadness. I recommend this album to everyone, but especially those who have family members who have fought for this country!

soulful voice raw guitar timeless harmonies
author: Isaiah Robinson
I love this album. Nothing sounds better than Jule's voice paired with Charlie White's raw guitar work. The harmonies are timeless, the fiddle and banjo are earthy. Such an interesting perspective on the Great War, too. I highly recommend this record if you're into Neil Young, Steve Earle, or Elvis for that matter.

A unique and moving album
author: Pat Conrad
This album is a wonderful original tribute to the best of the Southern patriots and their love of their homeland and heritage. This album should be enjoyed by all who are still proud to celebrate that same heritage. Its style though modern, captures the emotion and conflict of our greatest, most tragic conflict.
