Druid Dance

Absolutely brilliant! The musicianship on the entire album is superb, from flute and harp to guitar to bouziki, violin and bodrahn, etc. The styles and tempo of the music vary and this keeps the interest. Great interpretations of Irish music. If you need to have one track to convince you, listen to Roisin Dubh - beautiful. Another 5-star effort is Mulqueeny's. Jules and his comrades are a great band.

Fantastic album by a fantastic group of musicians led by the talented Mr. Bitter!! This has a rich mix of styles and tempo and so you'll never be bored or feel that it's all the same. In addition to the masterful flute and whistle playing of Bitter, the harp, bouzouki, violin, accordeon, and drums blend in so smoothly that it is only after a couple of plays you realise that these other guys are masters in their own right.
5 stars for Roisin Dubh...so beautiful. But the whole album is pure class.

Wonderful collection of traditional Celtic music of many moods
author: Jim Scallon
I stumbled across this CD while looking for a recorded version of the centuries-old Irish rebel song after which my daughter was named. Impressed with the instrumental interpretation, I sampled the whole CD and couldn't wait to add it to my collection. If you're a fan of traditional Celtic music of many moods - heartfelt ballads, spinning reels, and songs of mournful longing - this is a gem you'll enjoy over and over. The sounds from nature - rain, bird song, thunder - sprinkled effectively throughout the album make one feel as if the music is presented in an outdoor theater, rain or shine, with the sounds of the land adding a sense of place to these timeless songs.

A bewitching trip down celtic memory lane

At first I got to say that I´m technically not able to give as many stars as I would like to.
The music on this Cd is able to take you to a delightful excursion to celtic spirit on its best. Not only the lively tune but the manifoldness of the inconvenient instrument sounds is extremely impressive.
It creates an enchanted, cheerful mood... ...my very best compliments !
