This CD is the result of a fruitful and inspiring friendship between a musician and writer.
Both sharing a life long love and passion for Irish music and poetry, coupled with a desire to pass this passion on to you dear listener.
We sincerely hope that this Celtic Soundscape will ignite and nourish your interest in Irish music and poetry.
A medium handed down from the bardic tradition, that is as relevant today as it was hundreds of years ago.
Depicting a Celtic social culture intact and alive with music and stories, that generated from the folk tales of the land into the ever popular medium that it is today.
We would like to extend a special word of gratitude to our most valued guest musicians.
Especially to David Munnelly, button accordion virtuoso, for his out-standing contribution. Also to Philip Masure our Flemish friend and guitar master who also recorded a number of instrumentals in his music studio.
We also thank Zara Roberts (harp) and Rob Bitter (keyboard) for their unique musical contribution.
Including our families and friends for supporting us in this project.
Lastly, our deep gratitude to Johnny Coppin, BBC presenter for his inspiring words of support during the making of this CD.
