Album Notes

The Album 'Celtic Electricity' is the debut album from Welsh born tenor Julian David Edwards. It features traditional Welsh, Irish, movie and classical Popular tracks. Julian is a former soloist globally with Riverdance the show and in recent years has toured with the Internationally successful recording artists ‘Celtic Woman’. Supporting the girls including soprano Hayley Westernra across the United States, Japan and Europe. Including shows at Radio City Music Hall, Red Rocks amphitheatre in Colorado and two DVDS for PBS Television.

Julian takes inspiration from the last ten years of his life. A journey from growing up in the Valleys of South Wales with dreams and ambitions and the path that has followed. Celtic Electricity is hugely influenced by two years of working in the classical cross over industry with wonderful singers, musicians and gifted composers such as the inspirational David Downes. He has set about to accomplish his own solo success returning to his roots in Wales and recording truly beautiful songs from gifted composers. The album was recorded in Cardiff, Wales and has an intimate feeling with pure and mysterious vocal qualities.

Celtic Electricity

Julian David Edwards has such pure and clear sound, and each song demonstrates this. There are no duds in this album. I highly recommend it.
