“Xplosion of a Legend”
Julian’s Ride is an up and coming legend. He is an original artist who produces, arranges, writes and performs all his own pop, rock and funk songs. His newest release titled, “Total Freedom”, is an undertaking rarely seen today - a double CD with over 30 original songs. Julian brings back the old school style reminiscent of the Isley Brothers as he weaves scorching guitar solos through soulful ballads. He drives the crowds onto the dance floor with a frenzy of raw funk laden tunes with nods to James Brown and P-Funk, and he keeps rock & roll alive with wicked guitar licks that rival Led Zeppelin. Backed by the most talented band in the city, his live shows are dynamic and unparalleled. Julian delivers unforgettable performances for his fans that consistently pack his venues across the United States to hear his original sounds and tantalizing lyrics.

Julian’s first CD titled, “Eargasm”, was released on the internet and created a big buzz, landing four songs on the internet charts with two songs hitting #1; “My Love Won’t Die” on the Pop/Rock charts and the title song, “Eargasm” on the R&B/Funk charts. That same year he opened for Lakeside and Cameo at the Isaac Hayes Club in Chicago. Julian performed on stage with Prince during the “Hit & Run” tour, and has performed with many other artists including Buddy Guy and members of P-Funk. He has performed all over the U.S. and Canada, and has appeared on Chicago’s WGN Morning Show, Jenny Jones, Chicago Access, Rock on Chicago, Wild Chicago, and he has been featured in countless publications. Julian’s Ride is a regularly featured artist on Emancipation Radio (www.emancipationradio.com) and is a regular musical guest on their weekly radio shows. Closing out his musical year for 2006 he will be a special guest on the “Conan O’ Brian Show” and will be performing with other well known artists.

Julian’s Ride is taking the music industry by storm. He has begun preparation for his 2007 nationwide tour titled, “Xplosion of a Legend”. His 2007 national tour will launch him as a legendary artist as he showcases some of the most original and mind blowing music of the decade. Julian doesn’t follow the leader he is the leader. The impact he is creating in the music industry with his dedication and unstoppable talent makes him the artist that must be watched.
