REVIEWS

Eight wonderful harp pieces, beautifully played!

It's hard to imagine the harp being played any better than Julie Smith plays it on this recording. I like the CD better and better the more I listen to it, especially the last two pieces, Variations on a Theme by Paganini, by Mikail Mchedelov, and Impromptu, by Gabriel Faure. Julie's playing is full, bright, and conveys a range of emotion. I would recommend this CD both to fans of harp music and to people just becoming acquainted with the harp.
