Julie Durden can get a crowd going with her enthusiasm and charm, or she can have them eating out of her hand in silence with her passion. Julie leads the stage with her original, alternative-country feel, and an unlimited supply of original lyrics and acoustic drive. She has a sensitive and powerful way of getting out the dirt and beauty of life in her lyrics. Julie has been writing her own music and playing her guitar and mandolin since she was ten years old. She was always too shy and never let others in on her secret life of unlimited words, and songs, because they were too personal. Finally, after all of these years of writing both, lyrics and music, Julie has certainly discovered how important it is to share her thoughts with others. Julie's songs come from the deepest part of her soul with every new experience that life brings. It is often said by those who follow Julie's music and style, that they can relate. They feel as though she writes her songs just for them, exclusively. When songs can touch you in that way, it is obvious that they have been written from the heart. Julie's dedication, will, and faith, in doing what she loves, shows. She is so thankful to be able to share her songs with others because their lives give meaning to the songs.
