"In the Bucket" was recorded at various locations in New York City over several months. It offers a diverse selection of stripped-down acoustic tracks and lush instrumental/vocal arrangements. The album features four original songs (including the title track) and a folk-inspired version of Sam Cooke's "Bring it On Home to Me".
