Pink Star of the Beautiful Ohio is about the color pink, light pink, to be exact. These songs are about people desiring to be loved, but also seeking their own true identities. In many cases the environmental or psychic pressures that the narrator is experiencing are metamorphic & force the narrator to reliquish his presumed identity and reach for a higher one, like the phoenix rising from its own ashes.
These songs deal with many different forms of love, love between the living and the dead, love between fairies and humans, love between the past and the future, love between fathers and sons, love between teachers and students, love between lovers, and the love that the self has for the self. This album hopes to show that all types of love are equally romantic & all of them can fulfill the fairy-tale dream of "True Love"
