Album Notes

Juliet is an English actress who works extensively in film, television and theatre. Music has always played a large part in her life and as well as singing, writing and composing, she plays the piano, flute and guitar ( and is now embarking on the cello).

She recorded 'A Promise Of Return' in Los Angeles, USA, between October 2008 and March 2009. It was recorded, mixed and produced by Rob Seals at The Sound Boutique Studios in Burbank and was mastered by multi Grammy Award winner, Gavin Lurssen, in Hollywood.

Her lyrics are rich with stories about life, love and loss . The album also contains several cinematic instrumentals and although her songs and instrumentals are largely piano and guitar based, the addition of the flute, cello, violin, fiddle, upright bass, mandolin, percussion, accordian, penny whistle and rhodes all combine to create a colourful, evocative, lyrical, and beautiful debut album.
