Album Notes

Juni's long awaited second album takes her listeners on the next leg of the journey west. "Sideshow Romance" will have you headed to the midway with a waltz in your heart. Ever wonder what happened when Betsy from Pike's rooster ran off? Think Billy the Kid's mother was proud of her infamous son? The arrangements of Fisher's second release showcase her doing what she does best: blending song effortlessly with stories that deliver satisfying twists. With Tom Russell's blessing, she includes her sequel to his famous "Gallo del Cielo".Tom reported "Cool, I like it, well done." The rest of the quote can be found on the CD's cover art.
One fan wrote:"I feel like you have written the journey of my life through your songs..."
Certainly, as audiences become acquainted with Fisher and her definitive song writing style, they become fans. You will too.

Spellbinding talent...

Juni Fisher is superb - superb vocalist with a clear and evocative voice range, superb guitar player and most compelling of all, a gifted and incredible lyricist. As good as she is on traditional songs, her original pieces are the real reasons to collect her work. Singer/songwriters like Juni are rare - and to be treasured when found. This is a wonderful collection, though not all original like Tumbleweed Letters. But you gotta have both!

Funny, but thoughful. Hopeful, and more hopeful, and down right off the charts. Hike up your dress and run for the sage! Juni's stories are great the first time, and get better and better with repeats. (I've almost worn out my rooster track with the repeat button.) More please?!
