Quite Cool

Simply Amazing
author: Nick Lucente
This CD is probably the best of 2007. I've been waiting for it for a long time. I recently met the band and they are very nice, normal people. They just love making their music.
This album showcases a lot of their best talents: Vivion Smith's soaring and passionate vocals, Chris Bonavia's abstract and unique use of guitar, Freddy's louder-than-most-band's bass, and Eddie Pasa's extremely skilled drumming, coupled with his backup singing all put together to create 10 masterfully created tracks sure to make you want to buy more.

gamble paid off

I bought this album on a whim, knowing nothing about the band except that CD Baby said they sound a bit like U2.....well I'm glad I did, I like them better than U2! All the songs are complete, there are no 'fillers', just great lyrics and a full on sound that is never noisy, just rich and deep. There just isn't a bad song on the album, and the great ones (Take Me Home, Hello and Coma are my favourites) just get in your head and stay there, in a nice way of course :-)

Knowing her backstory really brings a lot of the lyrics to life (some of her sentiments in Coma are things she's said to her friends many times in real life). The album is deeply personal, and just beautiful in every way. And it's tight too - 10 brisk songs that don't wander or linger.
