Album Notes

The junkanoo brothers are four friends(sometimes 5 or 6) brought together by a common love of music and anything on or near the water. Hailing from the Gulf Coast and the Great Lakes area, they play an orinal blend of tropical, folk and pop(and whatever else may strike them). REVIEWS

Great laid back sound. High quality writing.
author: Dennis "DK" King- Island Time Radio Show
The Junkanoos continue the tradition with their third great trop rock CD,the Brown Album. The music here simply takes you to a warmer place, like a beach, lake in the summer or a seaside bar. The writing is high quality and the sound very laid back. A few of my favorites: Crazy Hot from the Heat, a fun calypso style jump,The Lake Erie Song, a heart felt song with our Great Lake as a backdrop, and Mel's Postcard, a great story song that takes place in Key West. Parrotheads and trop rock fans in general will love it!
