Junko's growing up! Well, not really but her kids are now in the tweener years, so she decided to update her sound with a slightly edgier mix on this, her 8th studio CD release, titled "I Got It!" She even added some rap here and there for fun, but the songs still have kids from preschool to junior high bopping to the beat. To her delight, she got big thumbs up from both Josh (13) and Megumi (10) who also contributed their vocals on the tracks. This album features great musicians such as Leland Sklar on bass (James Taylor, Phil Collins), Frank Lenz on drums (Crystal Lewis), Greg Vail on sax (Kilauea), Tony Gurrero on trumpet (John Tesh Band), Dave Lopez on guitar (Saddleback Church), and producer John Andrew Schreiner (Paula Abdul, Cher, Miley Cyrus, The Kry). Junko's hope is that this album sounds more "live" than previous efforts and that it will translate more easily to concerts with full bands.
