Medicine Jar

by Junkyard Angel

This gritty, “Cosmic American” roots-rock sextet. Has the best kind of wine-soaked No Depression clichés, and those who appreciate the woozy, pedal steel-glazed ennui of vintage Steve Earle, Jayhawks or Gram Parsons records...

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Junkyard Angel is "...used, abused, rhinestone-infused" old school country and rock that is drawing on the likes of Gram Parsons, Johnny Cash, Crazy Horse and the Flying Burrito Brothers with a good bit of Rolling Stones' "Goat's Head Soup" era colored outside the lines. Basically a ton of alcohol and such with some heartfelt, ass-kickin' countrytonk. Maybe that's a bit redundant, but nevertheless that's Junkyard.

June Bug

Dirty Southern Gold
Gold is sometimes hard to find, but this compilation may be the real McCoy. These boys know how to lay it down. Always have. The low country's best keep secret first album is a compilation of original tunes that had been heard all around the great bars of the southeast. Do yourself a favor and checkout the Marshall bros and crew....enjoy!
