Album Notes

Roots Rock Blues Americana - in the spirit of traditional American music. Otis Redding and Van Morrison travel through this music on a journey through the mind and soul. The Groove is so deep it starts in your soul, moves down through your feet and up into your head. Some people call it rock and roll music, but Ed Jurdi calls it Cosmic American Soul. One Man. His Music. Plain and Simple. Grand and Magnificent. Haunting and Delicate. From the summertime rag-top feel of Love Me Till The Sunshines, to the sweet soul pocket Honeydew, to the haunting and poignant King Of Colorado, this record is a dweller on the threshold, steeped in tradition, yet always looking forward. The wellspring that is American Music is the catalyst for this vibrant array of songs. An eclectic mix of Rock, Soul, Blues, R&B, Country, Bluegrass, and Jazz permeate this recording and live within the confines of nine original compositions. 'Nuff Said. Open your ears and fill your soul.

This music was so good that I felt the soul of Ed Jurdi
author: Tyrone Wilson
This is the Sweet Soul Sound that is the soul of my father's, but can be heard and felt by my brothers and me. The voice I hear is the sound of America, yesterday, today and I hope tomorrow. I sometimes felt that I was living down south once more when I heard "Wilson and Otis" and Atlantis. Keep making that sweet music !!!
