Album Notes

Just the Kitchen is:
Christine Hartman and Leah Cole
with Katy Sensmeier and Andrea Kuehne

Four sisters and lots of singing has given way to Just the Kitchen. In the kitchen (of course), in the car, in church and in school, JTK has been singing together off and on as life permits for more than 20 years. The sisters grew up in California but are now spread throughout the United States: Christine and Leah in Florida, Katy in Arizona and Andrea in Ohio. The album was recorded and mixed at Panda Studios in Clearwater, Florida and fortunately both Katy and Andrea were able to make the trip out to contribute.

Just the Kitchen is joined by an ad hoc group of top-notch musicians who have helped shape the debut album:
Patrick Bettison (bass and harmonica)
Bill Brusick (keyboards)
Paul Cooper (drums)
Chris Glawe (bass)
Alvon Griffin (percussion)
George Harris (guitar)
Christine Hartley (cello)
Gumbi Ortiz (congas)
Dave Reinhardt (drums)
The Coffee Girls - Lisa Ferrell, Alicia Gauss, Kate Hiesterman, Paula Robinson, Jennifer Tippett (vocals)

I just can't sit still when I hear this CD!

I am 14 months old and just love the diversity of the songs on Everything But The Sink. My favorite songs are A-ha and Jasmine Moon. I stomp my feet every time I hear the Brazilian marching band during A-ha and Christine's velvety crooning on Jasmine Moon makes me sway back and forth. I hope they do a cover of Wheels on the Bus soon!
