If I Were Adam

This CD features a nice mixture of acoustic instrumentation and very clear production keeping Justin's lower tenor voice just barely up front, making for a very nice mix to the ears. I only docked it one star because it is slightly under 30 minutes in length. Some of these compositions might have benefited from some longer instrumental breaks for some of the fiddles, piano or guitars to stretch out and flesh out the songs. But that's a minor consideration: You could also just put it on repeat and enjoy it for a nice relaxing hour. Another nice feature here is when you open the digipak you see a painting that goes along with each song, done by none other than the musician himself, and available to order a print as well!and enjoy it for a nice relaxing hour.
