After a long night of playing covers for a college-aged crowd of about three or four hundred, a new face approached Justin Cowell and said, “Hey, you’re really great, do you have a CD of your own?” Unfortunately, at the time, Cowell had to reply, “No, I don’t have one yet.” Thus, it was this conversation that started Cowell thinking about what it would be like for people to not only hear him in the local venues that he was playing at, but to have listeners all across the country as well. In turn, this ten track debut album from Justin Cowell is the product spanning three years of songwriting where he experienced love’s ups, downs, twists and turns. Being a solo performer for roughly three and a half years now has given Cowell the opportunity to examine not only what people like to hear, but what they like to be told. Having a background in piano has given him the ability to write music that is both catchy and unique. Also, powerful vocals matched with smooth guitar progressions are what make his music worthy of being labeled "fantastic".
