Album Notes

Hillbilly Favorites is the third release for Lazy J Records and the third time Justin Curtis & Sally~Jo have recorded together. This time Sally~Jo makes her presence a little better known singing not only supporting vocals but lead on the duets "Jackson" and "Don't Take Your Guns to Town" (yes, it's a duet. Check it out!)

And Sally~Jo sings both lead and harmony vocals on "I'll Fly Away".

These tracks prove that she's more than just a pretty face. (Was there any doubt?).

There are a lot of great songs here originally recorded by the legends in Country Music: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Jimmie Rodgers... And many of the great musicians that Justin has worked with over the years: Deke Dickerson, Mike McCafferty, Steve Jacoby, Bill Dewey, Will "The Rhythm Doctor" Jones...

In the links section (bottom left hand corner of this page) you'll find a link to the video for Jackson.
