I mate Justing Grounds on sept.2005 in Melbourne. My old friend and drummer Marcus Flack introduce to me with Justin Grounds. We have visited together in central Melbourne station and ate together. We were staying together for a few days and Justin was always talking about music and playing guitar. I didn`t know that he was working for this album at that time. Andway fantastic! `all the best Justin`

Thank you to my son Ashley who introduced me to this beautifully crafted piece of music. Seems that Justin Grounds is a visiting teacher at his school here in Melbourne.
Thanks to Justin and all the fine musicians who contributed to it - I'm absolutely knocked out by it.
Its my album of the year. Some tracks stir such emotions, give me goosebumps, bring tears to my eyes (I'm listening to Francesco Part 2 as i write this). Brilliant.

Every now and then, when the mainstream demands your attention because of either talent, timing or marketing flair, a low-profile artist can slip through the net. Hello Justin Grounds, of Warrandyte.
Two years ago, Grounds, a vagabond of sorts, began his journey when he “stuffed a few clothes, notebooks, a guitar and some paintbrushes in a bag” and left England. Well now he’s arrived at a magical, musical place.
Francesco is a gentle charmer, which channels Jeff Buckley at times in some well-crafted songs and sweet melodies.
The album is bookended with the outstanding acoustic opener, Cathedral Bells and the closer, Broken Open. In between is the haunting moodiness of The Painter, the yearning ache of Autumn Song and a mid-tempo change of pace with the Fishing Song. Guest vocalist Karly Warkentin is a dream on Summer Jacket.
