The Justin Long Band is gaining momentum from a national talent competition win and opening slots for Kutless, Disciple, Dizmas, The Afters and Farewell June. They have cultivated a loyal following in the Midwest that allows them to tour regularly as well as supplement the line-up for national touring artists.
Justin Long-Lead Vocalist/Guitar-2005 Branson Spotlight Winner has been cultivating a steady following in the midwest. \"I want to make an impact globally. I want to know that I used my God-given talents to affect people in a positive way. I have to use my experiences with life - good and bad - to create music that helps them through similar circumstances.\" A common answer Justin gives when asked where his motivations come from.
With the first full-length studio release from Justin Long Band in process, Wasn\'t Me is an introspective look at the decision to walk a greater path than the one we\'ve taken. It describes the defining moment in our lives when we cry out for forgiveness and grace. When we must humble ourselves to our own objectives to seek the truth. The lyrics describe a man who is finished with thinking he is in control of his own destiny. He is pleading to let you know that the person he once was is not the person he\'s become. Ashamed of who he was, he cries out for a new start.
