Album Notes

Rock and Roll was born in the heartland of America. So was Just Off Turner.

Originally from Fayetteville Arkansas, Just Off Turner combines the musical styles of their heroes (Counting Crows, Beatles, Lenny Kravitz) while adding their own unique sound and passions to create modern music with a timeless feel.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2001, Just Off Turner has been busy.

End Of Play (released March 2004), their first full-length CD, was recorded at Cherokee Studios (Jane's Addiction, Aerosmith, Al Green) with producers Jimmy Byrd (Smashing Pumpkins, Black Crowes) and Cameron Stone (Tracy Chapman, Poe, Jewel). Engineered by Bruce Robb (Shelby Lynne), End Of Play also features guest musician Lionel Cole (Mariah Carey) on organ and piano.

Other Just Off Turner recordings can be heard in "Rutland, USA", an independent film recently released on DVD. The film won both the Best Digital Feature Film and Best Actress awards at the Bear Lake International Film Festival.

But most importantly, the band has been doing what they love the most: performing their music live. Just Off Turner has headlined the Las Vegas Extremes world release party and the Extreme Sports Invert Games. Recently, they have been added to the monthly roster at the world famous Viper Room, where they have shared the stage with Candlebox, DJ Nu-Mark from Jurassic 5, and Susan Anton.

Just Off Turner continues to tour regionally and nationally.
