Just Sayin' is a lively, animated, fun-loving brother representing Rosedale all day every day. This Queens-bred and Brooklyn-born emcee creates and performs music that is a direct reflection of his emotion and passion. But don’t get it twisted. It isn’t all about fun and jokes. Just Sayin' is a brother who knows who he is. He is a direct product and representative of The Golden Era of Hip Hop striving to create timeless contributions to music and global culture. A man of Achievement, Just Sayin' is a living example of the motto, “Work equals play.” On stage, Just Sayin' is a free-spirited, buckwild, animated showman. Off stage, Keith Julian Richards is a focused, driven, business-minded individual who thrives on excellence and an incessant need to learn, create, achieve. His music is a testament to the human spirit and to experiences that everyone can relate to. Just Sayin's career began early in his life; he’s been writing ever since he learned to read. It all started after he won first prize in a local Black History Poetry contest at age 10. “I never thought anything of it so I just continued to write poems for my family.” Writing poetry, coupled with the natural ability to articulate, find words that rhyme, and a deep love of music and hip hop consciousness, the progression toward emceeing was quite natural. In junior high school, he continued to impress his fellow students and faculty with his poetry and eventually wrote his first rhyme. The inspiration to conquer the stage came in high school when Just dominated the lunchroom rhyming ciphers. After a successful performance at Martin Van Buren High School’s Star Search talent show, he discovered his natural ability to move the crowd. “As time went on, I realized that rocking crowds, making music and listening to music was all that really made me happy,” reflects Just. Throughout his high school and collegiate career, Just's dynamic style continued to rile up audiences at various venues, creating a loyal following. His major inspirations include: God, freedom, family, life experiences, love (and the possibility of it!) and earning his rightful place in Heaven. This multi-talented brother not only plans to mesmerize the world with his rhymes but he also wants to produce music, score soundtracks and video games, write and publish books of his poetry, join a spoken word circuit and even act. Just Sayin' is ready to rise to the next level, dedicating himself to exploring, developing and sharing his numerous talents with the world. “Having only one life to live and the realization that God punishes those who don’t use their talents, the decision to pursue music and letting everything else fall into place was pretty easy when put into the proper perspective.”
The Exclusive Preview serves as just that. This is a preview of things to come to tide listeners and supporters over while J. Say works on his full length LP - Katharsis: Animated Life Music vol. 1

What is there to say?! Red Hott was just that. Otherside really spoke the truth anout life and struggles. I think we feel sometime that we are being ignored but when in doubt there is always something or somebody that brings you back and Q the Prophet did that. I loved the way the two of you went back and forth it was pure art and filled with substance. Foolish Game had me all ears from the moment I turned it on. Can't we all relate to that?!Praying for you touches the soul. It's always nice to know that someone else is praying for you. They say those are the best prayers. We'll See, I say that everyday, another classic cut! Overall the EP was is my definition of divinity hip hop and only true heads know what that means. The instumenals were sick, took me back to the 90s a bit. Keep teaching life lessons. I can't wait for the album.
