“Take Five with Juwita Suwito at Avanti” is a special project for fans of the Malaysian award-winning singer-songwriter. The tracks were recorded at an exclusive event at Avanti, Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel in October 2007. It has five tracks, three of which are new arrangements of Juwita's previously released songs - “Destiny's Calling', “Teman Sejati” and “Walking Again”. It also features David Gates' classic number “The Guitar Man” and “Breathe Again” penned by Lin Li Zhen. Juwita's original rendition of the latter made it to the Taiwan charts in the soundtrack of Mandarin TV drama series “The Outsiders”.

“Take Five with Juwita Suwito at Avanti” is Juwita's first live effort after two studio releases - “Brand New World” (2004) and “Juwita Suwito – For Real” (2006). It captures the vocal energy of her live performances and highlights her musical interaction with the musicians Acis (grand piano), Aji (guitars), Wan Kelly (bass), Fendi (drums) and Boy (gambus & seruling - traditional Malay 'guitar' and flute). The live recording and mixing was done by Greg Henderson, while mastering was by Fauzi Marzuki.

The Live EP was recently announced as one of the nominees in the 'Best Local English Album' category for AIM16, to be held on 2 May 2009. It is available at all of Juwita's live gigs. International purchases and downloads can also be made via CD Baby or iTunes.
