The mission of the SKILLZ project is to use the power of hip hop lyrics to help young people express, discover and create themselves in positive wayz.

SKILLZ is a helpful & therapeutic tool for social services, education centers and is basically for anyone who wants to feel good!

J.Walker is a Rhymecologist, spoken word artist, author, teacher, hip hop connoisseur and counselor for “at risk” youth.

giilli moon is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, author, music producer and teacher, who has toured internationally.

Together, they created the SKILLZ project as a conscious, therapeutic and entertaining tool using their vast combined backgrounds in the music industry, education and psychology.

This album is dedicated to and inspired by children across the world, but especially the children placed in foster homes, group homes & residential treatment.

Respect yourself first, hold your head high and don’t let anyone tell you who you can or can’t be.
