JEWEL WITH LOVE and The JWL BAND
(Music That Reaches out - Touching Lives With The Love of God)
Jewel With Love is an extraordinary group of singers. Reaching out, and touching the hearts of boys, girls, men and women through out the world. This group has a sound you won’t hear everyday. They combine traditional gospel with a touch of contemporary gospel, jazz, blues and ballads all in one sound, which makes the uniqueness of Jewel With Love. Jewel With Love & The JWL Band are Protégées Of the World Famous R & B Artist, Grammy Winner Joe Simon who is now The World Renowned Bishop Joe Simon.
This group was founded by Jewel Rowe in Los Angeles, California February 17, 1994. All group members reside in the Los Angeles Area. These four lovely ladies and 2 men are named as follows:
Jewel Rowe: (recently deceased) founder, writer, arranger, asst. music director, asst. vocal coach, piano, keyboard, B3 organ, lead vocal and background; Dr Naddie Conedy : spokeswoman, sings lead vocal,1st & 2nd alto background; Kathy Davis: sings lead vocal, alto, and 2nd soprano background; Merilyn Ray: vocal background, alto,1st & 2nd soprano; and Kenneth ( Kenny ) Williams: lead vocalist, sings background, music director, vocal coach, writer, arranger, Keyboard, B3 organ; Samuel (Sam) Fisher: 1st and 2nd Tenor & Baritone
*Rachael Sanders is a former group member that also contributed to the project. Ms. Sanders sung background 1St and 2ND Soprano prior to the addition of Ms. Merilyn Ray.
