"That Sudden Stop" is the debut solo E.P. from Darling Violetta guitarist and co-founder Jymm Thomas.
Best known as co-writer of the Main Title Theme to the hit television show, "Angel", Jymm has redefined the "solo" record by writing, performing, producing, recording and even manufacturing "That Sudden Stop".
"That Sudden Stop" is roughly a concept record about falling – in love, for something, from the heights – and the pleasures and dangers of it. As the saying goes, “It’s not the fall that gets you, it’s that sudden stop at the end.”
The first 1000 copies are a limited edition and are signed and numbered by the artist. This E.P. is a CDBaby exclusive.

Brilliant, evocative and moving

That Sudden Stop is that rare collection of music that has lyrics as evocative as its score. The nuanced wording and flowing instrumentals work in perfect harmony (bad pun, sorry!) to touch your heart and give your brain a workout as well. Each time I listen I catch something new, some new riff or clever phrasing. This is a CD I will never grow bored with!
