K3 are the enfants terribles of the Austrian Jazz scene.
With their fusion of acoustic and electronic generated beats and sounds, these three lateral thinkers take on a balance act between pop and free jazz.
On the border between dub, trance, noise, and drum’n bass, they free themselves from traditional conventions. They aim to create free musical spaces. Jazz as it was originally intended: skipping boundaries, far from clichés and the mainstream, miles from academic, empty high-speed jazz.
Improvisation, spontaneity and humour are their main performance styles. Music emerges, happens , live guarantee.
In this way K3 refine themselves every evening. They alienate, destroy and create. They are , therefore never the same. Music against reproduction.
For the audience, a once in a life time experience: they are part of the K3 creation. Some call it Jazz, it is, in any case, art.
