Fortunate to catch one of Kacey's shows in the UK and so glad I did. A remarkable performer, even more remarkable singer-songwriter. Even if the whole music machine is dysfunctional, hard to grasp why this particular talent is not more widely known and promoted. Do not miss her if she comes your way: the music industry may be blind, but we music lovers do not have to follow suit.

There's so much great Americana music out there now, thankfully---many new names and faces writing and singing in this wonderful genre. To my mind, Kacey Cubero stands out from the pack. She's a poet, writing lyrics and telling stories that have universal resonance. And she delivers it with a rawness, a sincerity that can only come from living. This is music that touches you in places you didn't even know were there. I love this album and can't wait for her next one.
