Album Notes

Kaleal & Dren are at it again. This time they are bringing a vibe more common to the streets of the south. Jimba laced the beat and Haze, Crooks, and Term, summed up the tape.

"Try us if you want, baby do whatcha do, south side stomp if dat azz don't move, rep yo' block and protect yo' hood, dirty down south all the rest no good." Away From The Block and other tracks from Pop The Trunk Vol 2 can be heard on Silver Pharoah Radio today. You'll hear the work of Dren, treason beats, KOP, Jimba Frosty, and other producers across the map throwing some fire on this tape.

I.V. has stepped back in the ring bringing the heat on several tracks. Haze lets the competition know who really runs these tar pits with "This My Sh*t". Dirty Harry and Word are also back for the second installment of Pop The Trunk. There are some new names involved as well. Skorpione, Knomad, Kruz and Affliction shine right along with the veterans.

If you enjoyed volume 1, Volume 2 definitely goes the distance with a better visual product and an improved sound scape. Volume 3 will begin soon so save up...

Also be sure to look for new releases from Kaleal Crooks, One Term, and ILLegitimate Voices
