Southern California is HOT! Three quarters of the year the weather reaches temperatures of 80 degrees plus, and today happens to be one of those days. It’s a blistering 97 degrees out here on the west coast. The only problem is....it’s December 17th. Now if an assertion had to be made of the probable cause of such an occurrence, one might say it would probably have something to do with that hot new MC coming straight out of Southern Cali....Kaliber. As a member of the group Team Unseen, which consists of his brother Double A and their boy DJ OH!-D, Kaliber contributed to completing a demo as well as a music video for the groups hit single "It's Goin Down". While the group still remains, Kali has decided to work on his solo debut entitled "The Wrap". Working constantly day in and day out on new material and creative approaches for promotion, Kaliber hope's to add fuel to the fire that’s been spreading throughout O.C. With production from his sidekick DJ OH!-D - www.myspace.com/djohd -, who was responsible for most of the production on Team Unseens demo, and Team Unseen themselves, Kali has nothing but high hopes and expectations for his solo release. If all goes according to plan, The Wrap should be a definite smash.
Using music to escape the pressures of life, Kaliber has been able to overcome many obstacles that life has thrown in his direction. With musical inspirations like Tupac Shakur, Eminem, Kanye West, Will Smith, Boyz II Men, he was introduced to an art form that allowed him to express his emotions on paper. As a musician he feels that the delivery of a message, as presented by the artists who inspired him, is the most important element in creating music.
In his quest to achieve his goals and break record high temperatures, he shall continue to add to this very intricate and diverse culture we know as Hip-Hop, in attempts to get his views, ideas, and beliefs across to people worldwide. With shows, a new album, and a new video lined up, next summer promises to be a hot one for Kaliber and anyone down to come along for the ride.

From beginning to end, the album is absolutely amazing! If you like the sound of 2Pac, Kanye West, Eminem -- look for nothing else than this album, The Wrap. Sooner or later, this underrated rapper will rise to the charts faster than Twista can say, Kaliber is on fiiiiiiiiire!!!

After listening to this, I was somewhat amazed at what they were able to pull off in terms of the music aspect of it. Doing music myself and being a big fan of all music, I can say that I liked what I heard. My favorite song is "This Goes Out". Keep up the tight jams!
