From kids to world music and serious classical music fans, Kalinka pleases all. This exceptional duo has received personal commendations from famed pianist and international ambassador Van Cliburn, the City of Dallas Cultural Arts Council, WRR-FM Classical Radio, Various symphonies and other entities across the USA. The balalaika, expertly played by Sergey Vaschenko, and the bayan (accordian) expertly played by Vladimir Kaliazene are the core of their charming and romantic Eastern European sound. Guest Patrick Rodriguez plays guitar and bass on some songs.

Kalinka was awarded a Grammy nod for their first CD with Seduction Records in 2004. We hope and expect that the honor will be repeated with this CD.
