After a recording hiatus of nearly 15 years, the New England–based folk trio of Cindy Kallet, Ellen Epstein, and Michael Cicone has released its third CD, HeartWalk. Featuring the threesome’s distinctive mix of a cappella and guitar-accompanied pieces, the recording also includes guest vocal and instrumental appearances by Grey Larsen, Will Brown, Richard Knisely, and Izzy Maxwell. Heart Walk presents arrangements of songs by Judy Collins, David Dodson, Susan Ellenton, Tom Gala, Larry Kaplan, Deborah Langstaff, Peter Mayer, Cyril Tawney, and Dave Webber, as well as originals by all three trio members.
