Blending multiple styles of heavy rock infused with Latin flavor, KANDELA has a sonic arsenal that will have most crowds salivating soon after the first note is played. Fluid, intense and explosive, KANDELA, for the past 5 years have been performing in the eastern area of the U.S. leaving audiences wanting more. Formed in 1999, Jorge Caraballo ( Guitar and Vocals), Kenty Love (Bass) and Noel Mendez ( Drums) had created what was to become one of the area's well respected original bands.
2001 marked the addition of Titi Martinez as the KANDELA Vocalist, making room for Jorge to commit solely to his extraordinary and blistering guitar talent, and to further enhance what was already an exceptional band. Titi had added an even more energetic stage presence as well as a captivating voice to propel the band higher than before.
In 2004 KANDELA recorded their first CD, titled 1221. KANDELA - 1221 have been distributed throughout the eastern U.S. as well as in Puerto Rico.
