Since 2003 Kandystand have produced the hottest European dance music. Producer Alodis, and Vocalist Katy D released their first single 'Alone' in 2004.

Since the early 80’s Alodis has been at the forefont of electronic music production. From the early days of Chicago House, through the Hi Nrg and Techno of the 90’s, to the modern day dance explosion, these influences have come together in this latest audio extravaganza - Kandystand!

Vocals - Katy 'D'

Fronting Kandystand, curvaceous Katy D started her musical journey through her radio shows broadcast across Europe. After getting hooked on the Hi Nrg dance sounds played on her shows, a chance meeting with Alodis meant her path was set. Straight into the studio to record a single and album for Kandystand.


Kandystand have been writing and recording for the last 4 years, and the single "Alone" is a great cover of the 80's hit by Heart.

'Alone' was inspired from hearing the original on the radio while Alodis was on the Mediterranean Island of Cyprus. He thought it was a great song and would lend itself to a dance version very easily.

It wasn't our first creation though we had been working on original material prior to 'Alone' being recorded, and you can hear more of our floor filling tracks on our debut album 'Watch Out Here I Come' - also available on CD Baby
