aaron kane (ak) was born and raised in newport news va., up until the last 6 years in which he has resided in nj and pa. he has been musically inclined his whole life and active in the music business for the last 12 years. he first started in a group called "sudden impact" (who were signed under michael bivins from the group "new edition") in which aaron sang lead vocals. michael bivens also discovered the all time no.1 selling r&b group, "boyziimen". "sudden impact" made numerous video appearances including "motown philly" & "mc brains" "oochie coochie", (another michael bivins artist). from there, "sudden impact" signed to biv 10 records/motown when michael bivins started the "east coast family". "sudden impact" was eventually re-named "whytgize" when they were featured in the "east coast family's" "1-4-all-4-1" song and video, which became a top 10 r&b single. from there the "whytgize" signed to "boyziimens" record label stonecreek/sony which inspired yet another name change, they would now be known as "the outsiderz". through out aaron's journey he has learned a great deal about the music industry. his experiences have made him the talented artist/singer/songwriter and person that he is today. aaron has since gone solo and has had a single charted in billboard magazine this year. it reached all the way up to # 7 and debuted at # 8. aaron has stayed true to his roots by continuing his music, which has a smoothe , soulful r&b sound that is infused with a touch of pop. aaron has been featured on b.e.t., mtv, vh1 and also several magazines. aaron continues in the music industry today because of his love for writing, performing and arranging music. you can reach aaron kane via his personal email or phone at: aaronkane1@yahoo.com www.myspace.com/aaronkane7
