Judy Kanyo was brought to my attention to the Roy Cost Show
author: Roy Cost of Roy Cost Radio; Conway, Arkansas
I would like to praise the artistic ability of Ms. Kanyo to be able to either sing classic country, the fiftish styles and still being able to sing traditional country songs. No even to mention her beauty I was impressed with "Darling It's Over" which is definitely traditional country and her voice was stunning and really did Ms. Buffit proud. Appartently she is a fan of Patsy Cline and I hear a touch of Ann Murray in some of those more classical country songs. I wish her great success and she can go as far as her dreams take her. Also it always helps to have those great musicians!!! Roy Cost 2108 Arkansas Avenue Conway, Arkansas 72034 Roy Cost Radio www.roycost.com Contact Roy Cost at roycost@conwaycorp.net

A definite winner!!
author: Doug Morris, Founder, Indie Music Appreciation Group
I have been enjoying this album for several days now. As soon as I heard the disc for first time, I knew I would simply have to add a page to my site for this Air Canada purser who doesn't need an airplane to fly high, because she's got the voice of an Angel! It's a voice with a remarkable range and which can be as soft and warm as any I've heard, still hit high notes with a clarity that will make you tingle, and man, can she sing a ballad! She sure picked some fine songs to put on her album too! One of those songs is "Darlin' It's Over" written by Shelley Buffitt, and I'd have to say that Judy has done an excellent job with this song. I must not be the only one who thinks so either, because Judy's version of it is making a real good showing on the International, Independent, Internet and even the U.S. radio markets! She's had several great reviews already written about it. The album was produced by Randy Moore, who not only played some of the instrumental parts on the album, but who also contributed five of the other songs on the album, including one from my Favorite Indie Songs list, "Lover And A Friend". While we're on the subject of songs I like, allow me to say that another `Favorites ' song can be found on this album of Judy's, and that's the song written by Marshall Gardner titled "It Must Be Rain." I also very much liked the songs "Old Fashion Heart" & "Living My Dreams" (both from the pen of Terrance Alan), a couple of real toe-tappers titled "Crazy Hold On Me" & "Je Ne Sais Quoi", both of which were among the contributions from Randy Moore's formidable song writing talents, and another song by Shelley Buffitt, "I Really Don't Know." So which are my picks for Best Of? Golly, you could just about choose any of the songs listed above, but I think my own personal favorites are the three that I think do the best job of showcasing the wonderful voice of Judy Kanyo, and those would be "My Love", "The Heart Is Blind", and "Before Your Love", all three of which are going on my Favorites list . Bottom line: Judy Kanyo has a great voice, the album is full of fine songs from a variety of excellent songwriters, the band did an awesome job, and the engineering on the disc is flawless. If you don't own a copy of this album, you will be missing out on something special. I promise, it's worth every cent you'll pay for it, and a whole lot more!

You're An Angel to Me!
author: Beverley Graham
I've always loved the 60's hit song JOHNNY ANGEL as once recorded by Shelley Fabares. (Remember the Donna Reed Show!)Thank you Judy Kanyo for being an angel and recording one of my favorite songs. A whole new generation is going to love it,and sing along like I do now. Who knows? Maybe a TV show will be next! As for the rest of the songs...they all sparkle, every one.
