Album Notes

Since her early teens, Karen has performed for audiences in Upstate New York including restaurants, hotel lounges, clubs, private parties and shows. A few years ago Karen began a full-time music business in her home studio teaching piano and guitar lessons to promising young talent, composing and recording. It was a decision to follow her passion. Karen's favorite style of music is jazz and blues, but she admits each style has its own flair for expression. Music has been an important part of her life, professionally and personally. Musicians know it becomes who you are.

The musical compositions on this album reflect Karen's journey through life telling her stories without words, expressing different moods through a potpourri of music styles.

The original song arrangements with rhythms and a variety of instrumentation were played and recorded by Karen on a Yamaha arranger keyboard.
