Karen Merchant and Dave Rimelis, artists who co-wrote and produced "Resting Pulse" met while doing their graduate studies in music. Years later, they met again at the Starseed Yoga and Mediation Center in Montclair, NJ, where they were inspired to create music for their yoga practice.

Karen and Dave have had diverse individual careers in performing, writing, recording, conducting and teaching and their unique collaboration on this album brings their combined talents into focus in a unique and soulful way.
