Album Notes

The album “Come See Me” is KarenJ’s sophomore effort on Stagefright Music House Records’ label. It’s a unique blend of smooth jazz, classic R&B and neo Soul. The title track “Come See Me” brings to mind the stylings of Vanessa Williams and the warmth and depth of Oleta Adams. Track 3 “Don’t You Know”depicts an upbeat funky declaration of confidence of a woman’s ability and desire to satisfy her man. Track 5 “Here I Am There You Are” is a sexy and sultry expression of a lover’s desire to take it to the next level. Although it has been the better part of 3 years since the release of her debut album, KarenJ says, "I only want the people who enjoy my music to have the very best that we can give them ... anything short of that just won’t do." Track 6 “Never Did I” acknowledges love almost lost can be all that it use to be. A special song, Track 10 “Freedom Justice What Do You Want,” is dedicated to the troops in the Iraqi War and to all who have fought for Freedom and Justice around the world. KarenJ’s voice is silky smooth and her love songs are sure to bring pleasure to you and that special someone in your life. Sandy H. of Dallas, TX credits a show of Karen's at an “Indulge” event last year of saving her marriage saying..." Something about her singing that night had my man all over me."
