Their first album(Wide Open) is getting rave reviews right across Canada and is receiving airtime on college and main stream radio in several provinces. Well respected by her peers in the industry, Karen is a multi-talented ARTIST who has all the ingredients for STARDOM. Having been a classically trained musician and an actress with live theatre and television credits, she has developed a exceptionally strong stage presence full of dynamics and likeable charisma that tends to mesmorise, and keeps her audiences full attention. Before leading the "KAREN SINGLE BAND", she toured and performed with numerous full time "A" circuit bands, as well as contributing to several original bands as not only a keyboard player/rhythm guitarist, but writer, producer and arranger. A sought after performer and dynamic songwriter with a trunk full of songs destined to be HITS, it's no wonder the industry is excited. Husband/partner and guitarist,Attila, is a Canadian-Hungarian guitar virtuoso, with over 20 years of experience, including extensive touring throughout Europe, Germany and Canada. He founded Hungary's first "official" speed metal band"VASMACSKA" (as recorded in the 1988 ROCK LEXICON history book)at the age of 15. His first record deal was signed at the age of 17,selling well over 10,000 copies.His wide recognition as a seasoned performer and showman were seen in the Vancouver bands known as "Citizen Cane", "Uncle Sid" and "Taltos".In Hungary "Marathon" was another of his well known bands. A dedicated musician,composer,producer,engineer, and soundman, he contributes all of these talents to the "KAREN SINGLE BAND".He names Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and Micheal Schenkner as influences.
