If I were to describe my music in one word, I'd choose the word cornucopia. My music really is reflective of my love for many musical and vocal styles and cultures. I'm a classically trained vocalist who is inspired by the vast offerings of music. I find joy in the rich, chromatic melodies and harmonies of Debussy. Lush vocal tapestries of Hugo Wolf and Richard Strauss captivate me. Sarah Vaughan beckons me with deep and high wisps of jazzy vocal agility. Traditional Gospel music and hymns speaks to the core of my existence. Non-Western music inspires a world of creativity and imagination in my mind.... melodies, ideas, pictures that must be sketched. No label, or brand would holistically encompass the music I create. I'd simply say it's music of my soul... innate, tangible, available, purposeful, and inspiring.
