Album Notes

This is a brand new re-issue by Mary of her long out of print debut album. Originally issued in 1992 on Y&T Music, the album features guest performances by all the members of THE MAVERICKS; Raul Malo, Robert Reynolds, Paul Deakin & original founding member Ben Peeler. Mary has had the album digitally remastered and has issued a very limited amount of copies, all of which are personally autographed and available now at CD Baby. "Swinging on His Arm"; featuring Ben, Paul & Robert of The Mavericks is one of the most beautiful songs ever written by Mary. You can sample it on this page! This album also features the fiddle playing of Chuck Anton and the original version of "The Way I See It", which was later recorded with Jackson Browne for Mary's Atlantic Records album, "Yelling at Mary". Raul Malo adds backing vocals on "Hearts". If you email the artist with your mailing address, we will send you a nice lyric sheet and bio from the original release!

That's a phenomenal debut.

Proof positive the most talented aren't always found in the record stores

Mary's debut CD is a touch more gentle than her "record company" produced "Yelling at Mary," and that's just the way I like it! Sit back in your rocking chair (or lazyboy) and enjoy a voice sure to hook you from the first track. By the time you make your way to faster tracks like "One Like I" and "The Way I See It" you'll be a fan. The best news is, her later CDs get even better!
